HPV Testing

Our HPV Test helps detect the presence of Human Papillomavirus, a significant factor in cervical cancer risk.

Requirement

  • A cervical specimen will be collected by your physician or OB/GYN.
  • A Cervex-Brush (broom-like device) is used to collect the sample.
  • The brush is immediately immersed in ThinPrep vial with Preservcyt or Surepath solution and sent to our lab for testing.
  • Our lab performs the HPV test to detect high-risk HPV strains associated with cervical cancer.
